Eric Liu
Co-Founder & CEO
Eric Liu is the Co-Founder and CEO of Beakon, where he brings over 20 years of experience in public safety technology, SaaS platforms, and leadership. Previously, Eric was CEO of Nixle, scaling it into a leading public safety communication platform, and Director of Public Safety Platform at Citizen. He has a proven track record of building innovative solutions that enhance emergency response and resilience.
Scott Benoit
Co-Founder & Head of Product
Scott is a Co-Founder and Head of Product at Beakon, where he leverages his extensive experience and expertise in product strategy, user experience, creative direction, data strategy, AI/ML, and analytics. He has over 17 years of experience in leading high-performing, results-oriented teams, growing and scaling SaaS products, and driving strategic initiatives for public safety and resilience solutions.
David Choi
Co-Founder & Head of Operations
David is a Co-Founder and Head of Operations at Beakon. He leads Beakon’s world-class team of threat analysts and develops innovative strategies and features that enable the Beakon platform to deliver ever more value to security teams. Prior to building Beakon, David built and led analyst teams specialized in monitoring the 911 system and other streams of OSINT to publish millions of real-time safety alerts at Citizen.

Brian K. Tuskan
Vice President and Chief Security Officer, SanDisk
Brian K. Tuskan serves as Vice President and Chief Security Officer at SanDisk, leading its global physical security organization. He brings more than two decades of corporate security leadership, including former CSO roles at Microsoft and ServiceNow, where he built and transformed global security programs. A former law enforcement officer, major crimes detective, SWAT team member, and member of the Seattle FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, Brian combines operational experience with expertise in resilience, intelligence-driven security, and AI-enabled innovation. As the founder of Security & Things and Cop to Corporate, he advances security modernization and helps law enforcement professionals transition into private-sector careers. His experience also includes advising and investing in AI startups focused on safety, security, and operational risk.
Ajay Nigam
CEO, Dassana
As a Beakon Advisor, Ajay draws on his proven track record of 20 years in successfully managing P&L, executing on strategy to drive discovery-driven growth for both high-growth start-ups and large enterprises. Ajay currently serves as Dassana’s CEO and previously held executive leadership roles at Everbridge, Symantec & ID Analytics (acquired by Symantec).
